LATIHAN ULANGAN KENAIKAN KELAS (I)

Published April 20, 2012 by ourenglishzone7

Two months ago, I and my brother visited Sarangan, a well in Magetan, East Java.  We rode motorcycles there. It was unforgettable experience because we passed three provinces in a day, Yogyakarta, Central Java, and East Java.

We started the great experience at 7 a.m. in  the morning. Started from Yogyakarta, we followed this route, Yogyakarta – Wonosari – Semin – Manyaran – Wonogiri. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with the tire. We needed to find the garage to fix it. At 9.30 a.m. we reached Wonogiri, Central Java. It spent about 2,5 hours to reach Wonogiri. We needed to take a rest there because we were tired. We stayed in my elder brother’s house about an hour.

After a little break, we continued our journey. On the way to Sarangan, the scenery was amazing. We needed to go through the hills, valleys, bridges, farms, forests, small villages, etc.  We reached Sarangan, East Java, about 01.00 p.m.  We had our lunch there.  It was a great place but I found something unique there. Sarangan is a well, not sea, but I could see the wave. How come? The guide said that it was because of the boat. The temperature was cool because it was in the slope of Mount Lawu.

Finally we went home after enjoying the amazing view there.  This experience would be hard to forget. And I promised to visit there again someday.

We can find camels in the desert. They are very special animals. They have long necks and one or two humps on their backs. It can grow to 7 feet height. A grown-up camel weighs about 800 kg.

A camel can grow without food or water for many days. It stores fat in its hump. When there is no food, it eats the fat. It has an extra stomach for storing water. That’s why camels were the main transporter used in Middle East and north of Africa.

The  camel can walk on the hot burning sand because its feet are padded. The padded feet also help the camel to walk on the soft sand without sinking into it. The feet could reach almost 2 m height. The strong feet also enable them to run regardless of his weight.

Once upon a time there was a beautiful place called Neverland where Peter Pan and Tinker Bell lived. Not so far from this place was the city of London where John, Wendy and Michael Darling lived.
